Introduction :

    The Institute of Applied Sciences and Techniques for the Agri-Food Sector (ISTA BLIDA 1) aims to offer future graduates short-term training (three years) with the best of what is being done in terms of modern and innovative coaching and pedagogical approaches. Oriented towards the world of work, in perfect and immediate alignment with the requirements of the economic sector, this training delivers a professional diploma (License)

    Equipped with pilot units for advanced training, the institute opened its doors in 2016/2017, it has four departments:

    - Cereal technology and derivatives

    - Milk technology and derivatives

    - Water Technology and Beverages

    - Agri-Food Marketing Techniques TC2A (Dual Profile)

    ISTA BLIDA 1 offers training under National Enrollments.

    ISTA is supported by a consortium of economic partners in the field of Agri-Food (see "Partners" section).

    Its vocation is to prepare young operational graduates at the end of their studies in the spirit of the institute motto:

    Excellence, Reliability and Employability

    The design of this training gives itself the means to achieve its objectives by strengthening particularly the practical work and by involving industrial experts in education.

    In addition, ISTA students receive internships in companies. One month in the first year, two months in the second year and four months in the third year.

    ISTA BLIDA 1 was officially inaugurated on 13 December 2016, on the occasion of an international colloquium on the theme of «The Professionalization of University Education, Crossover Perspectives: University/Economic Sector»
